Buying on line is becoming a preferred shopping medium for many customers who order and buy their food from supermarkets online, plan and book holidays and air or rail tickets, select and order new and second hand books from Amazon and Abebooks, download music from Itunes, explore the many bargains available on E-Bay, and even purchase houses and cars online.

X-Cart - the best commerce software
Webworlds has recently produced a new online shop for Guardian Safes, a major UK safes company. We chose to use Worldpay to process credit card payments, and X-Cart - one of the most popular pieces of commerce software. We engaged with the software designers to produce a range of enhancements, including the ability to sent product enquiries with all the product details automatically included, and product comparison, allowing customers to browse and compare features within a product range.
We have also recently set up a DVD shop for John Seymour Associates, incorporating You-Tube extracts fron the DVD within the shopping cart, adding a lot of marketing potential to the website.

This online shop sells DVDs using X-Cart, a high-end industry standard shopping cart solution, heavily modified and linked into the main JSA website. Incorporates inline U-Tube video extract. The site uses the high-end Worldpay online payment system, very robust, secure and trusted.

A Safe and Security Company Shopping Cart and Catalogue
Another use of X-Cart, a heavily modified template that incorprates bespoke software modifications. This shopping cart has proved to also be a popular web catalogue and is used as a reference site by Safe Insurance brokers. This cart is set up with several 'administrator' accounts for client price and product modifications.
